My husband has had a squint since he was a child; It doesn't bother him as much as I do. I believe his mother neglected him as she might have chosen to have her squint removed when he was a child. I wanted to know if it is possible to remove strabismus at the age of 30 and what is the cost of such a procedure?
At this age, the operation of strabismus is just cosmetic. Ie. you can "position" the eyeballs correctly, but it will not improve vision in the affected eye. Sometimes there is strabismus. accommodative - which may disappear after laser correction of a vision defect. But this is decided by an ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of strabismus. As for the prices of operations - please search individually in clinics that perform this type of surgery.
