Alternating squint - I heard this "judgment" concerning a 4-year-old child. Please tell me what to do in the case of such a disease (glasses, some exercises, surgery) and is there a chance for a complete cure?
Strabismus is the type of strabismus that MUST be operated on. This operation SHOULD take place before the child is 6 years old, the operation performed at a later date may not be entirely successful - namely, "break" binocular vision (this is a frequent consequence of improperly treated or untreated strabismus). Since the child is 4 years old, there is a good chance that the operation will completely cure strabismus. Rather, it is the only solution.
