The eWUŚ system is an easy and quick way to check in a he althcare facility whether we are en titled to free medical care. It is enough to have an identity document and enter the PESEL number.
The eWUŚsystem allows you to easily checktreatment authorization . From January 1, 2013, we do not have to bring any special documents when going to the receiving doctor under the National He alth Fund. All you need to do is show your ID card, passport or driving license and provide your PESEL number. Thanks to these data, the registrar will check in theeWUŚsystem whether we are en titled to free medical care.
Who is the insured person
All those who pay he alth insurance contributions: full-time employees whose contributions are paid by the workplace, self-employed persons who pay contributions, unemployed persons and those who do not conduct business activity, who have signed an individual insurance contract with the National He alth Fund, unemployed persons (registered in employment offices), pensioners and family members of insured persons registered by them for insurance (children, grandchildren, spouses).
How to register a family member for insurance
A person employed full-time notifies his employer about the willingness to register a family member for insurance. The employer submits the application on the ZUS ZCNA form. A person running a business independently registers a family member for insurance by completing and submitting a ZUS ZCNA form to the appropriate ZUS branch. All these data are transferred to the eWUŚ system. They are updated daily, so that every new application or deregistration from the insured person's register is immediately noted.
