Hello, I would be grateful for your advice because my gynecologist is currently on vacation and I am in a stalemate. I have known that I am pregnant for 2 days, my last period was on January 11th, so it is about 5 weeks. I travel a lot in my current job. On Thursday I am flying to Frankfurt (flight about 1 hour), next week to Köln (about 1 hour flight). I am 34 years old and this is my first pregnancy, I do not hide the long-awaited, I did not have any spotting, I recently had a cytology on January 6 and the results were very good (no bacteria, proper pH). I have not had any miscarriage so far, but also no pregnancy on my account. Can i fly? The flight is not stressful for me. I would not like to inform my employer about my pregnancy yet, because this is the beginning, and I will have to justify the lack of willingness to fly to meet the company's clients somehow. Is the flight really risky in week 5-6? I would be grateful for your advice.

Good morning! If you are 5-6 weeks pregnant, a short flight is not a risk. The uterus is still hidden deep in the pelvis, behind the symphysis, and is protected by your own tissues. Please remember to take folic acid, iodine and vitamin D3. Congratulations and best regards
