I'm 4 months pregnant. I have been using glasses since I was a child, and contact lenses for 3 years. For 3 weeks I have been seeing worse and worse, left eye is red and my head hurts. Is it serious? Will my eyesight improve after pregnancy?
It is very possible that your eyesight problems are caused by irritation of your eyes with contact lenses. This is often the case in pregnant women. Please try to wear glasses instead of lenses. And it is worth visiting an ophthalmologist to also assess the condition of the retina. I recommend this test to pregnant women, especially those who have a visual impairment.
