My 23-year-old daughter has very painful periods - her legs stiffen, she cannot walk, her hips hurt, no painkillers help, sometimes it takes 3-4 days. What should she do? Maybe some research? The doctor recommended only painkillers, ibuprom max. Can the daughter take a hot bath during this period? She says it sometimes gives her pain relief.
The daughter should come to a gynecological ultrasound during menstruation in order to assess the structure of the reproductive organ. If the symptoms are so strong, and there are no abnormalities in the structure of the reproductive organ, it is possible to consider the implementation of contraceptive pills without menstruation or in the pattern of the occurrence of menstruation every 3 months. You can also try to use drugs such as Aulin or Nimesil with an analgesic effect during menstruation - according to their registration. During menstruation, you should not take a bath in a bathtub, but a shower.
