Hello. During the vaginal ultrasound examination, I felt very severe pain in my left lower abdomen. It intensified when steering the head to the left. Two years ago, the doctor found a 1.5 cm cyst and said that if it did not grow, he would not do anything with it, because such cysts are a very common phenomenon and usually self-absorbed. Two months ago, during the follow-up visit, the ultrasound image showed that the cyst was located more in the fallopian tube, and its size had increased to 4 cm. I will only add that the ultrasound examination is more and more painful from visit to appointment, and the pain appears even during intercourse and more and more often spontaneously. Do you think I still shouldn't worry about these symptoms?
If the cyst causes pain, then, depending on the type of cyst, further diagnostics and treatment should be undertaken. In the fallopian tube, there are usually hydrocarbons of the fallopian tube, and periubertal cysts are very rare. I think you should ask your gynecologist for further diagnosis of the lesion.
