My problem is varicose veins on my legs. After performing ultrasound of the legs, the surgeon said that I had to undergo a procedure that would remove them under local anesthesia, and then I had to have "injections" and foam filling - I do not remember the exact name of this procedure. I also have spider veins on my legs). Won't these treatments hurt me? Will my problem with aching legs (not to mention the appearance) end after these treatments? what medications, ointments should I use to prevent the formation of more varicose veins?

Without access to the ultrasound results and without examining the patient, it is difficult to determine the legitimacy of such a choice of treatment. In the case of insufficiency of the saphenous vein (the main trunk of the superficial system), one should rather incline to surgery or intravenous laser surgery. Discoloration of the skin may be a side effect of foaming, which the doctor should inform about. Conservative treatment is ineffective in similar cases. If necessary, I invite you to consult.
