Can a woman aged 56, after 31 years of working as a teacher, really benefit from sanatorium treatment? (I would like to work and strengthen my he alth). Let me mention that I am an active teacher, therefore I am not en titled to a vacation leave. In October 2013, I submitted an application to the NFZ to a sanatorium. A few days ago, I received a referral to the he alth resort from March 31 to April 21, 2015 (including the holiday break: April 2-7). In my environment, it is interpreted that I cannot take sick leave, I have to take unpaid leave - the stay lasts 21 days (in this case, the prospect of a hungry month appears). I have read your opinion on a similar matter. I understood that it is possible to stay in a sanatorium while on sick leave. How to get the doctor to release L4 and which one? Family - before leaving? Or maybe the one from the sanatorium? What about the 6-day vacation period, i.e. from April 2-7? I am asking for a precise explanation and indication of the legal basis.
