Hello, I have had a problem for over a year (it started when I returned to Poland after a few years). My mucus is milky, all the time … The gynecologist was giving me Clotrimazole all the time without any tests. I changed the gynecologist. The present one referred me to a series of tests and smears. I did an ultrasound, vaginal smear, and STD tests, and the result was normal each time, and the cytology was unchanged. I do not feel pain, burning, itching, the smell is unchanged, I take care of my intimate hygiene, I buy lactic acid globules from time to time. Only this mucus is white instead of transparent … It is embarrassing in intimate situations, I am ashamed that my partner will think that I have mycosis or another disease, and my test results are like in a he althy woman. My doctor prescribes pessaries or creams (Dalacin, Macmiror and others) for me all the time, and in my opinion it doesn't make sense because smears and smears do not indicate inflammation, so these drugs deprive me of these "good" bacteria. What other tests can I do and what treatment can I use to make my mucus colorless? Let me add that when I'm aroused, the mucus is normal, colorless. I have a normal period. I have not been using hormonal contraception for two months (and now the color of the discharge is more normal in the first half of the cycle, unfortunately it is white again in the second half of the cycle).
I believe that this is not a symptom of any disease or pathology, it is just the most normal mucus in the second phase of the menstrual cycle.
