Hello, When do I have the right to call an ambulance without worrying about the cost of a wrong call?

The patient has the right to call an ambulance in situations of imminent threat to life. A medical emergency team transports a person in a state of emergency to the nearest hospital emergency department in terms of time of arrival or to a hospital indicated by a medical dispatcher or a medical emergency coordinator. Refusal to admit a person in a state of emergency by a hospital emergency department or hospital, referred to in paragraph 1. 1, results in the application of a contractual pen alty specified in the contract for the provision of he althcare services or the immediate termination of this contract. If a person in a state of emergency is diagnosed with a condition which, according to the standards of procedure, requires transport from the scene of the incident directly to the hospital where the trauma center is located or to the organizational unit of the hospital specialized in providing he alth services necessary for medical rescue or, if the system physician present at the scene decides so, the person is transported directly to the indicated hospital, where the trauma center is located, or to the indicated organizational unit of the hospital specialized in providing he alth services necessary for medical rescue. In the case of transport outside the operating area, the transport is coordinated by a medical emergency coordinator. Legal basis: Act on he alth care benefits financed from public funds (Journal of Laws of 2008, No. 164, item 1037, as amended)
