I live in Ireland and am 28 weeks pregnant. For some time my stomach has been aching and it becomes harder, it happens in the evenings, when I walk a lot. Should I worry about this? In my first pregnancy, I didn't have it. Here, I have not been examined gynecologically once, but when I was in Poland in the 24th week of pregnancy, the doctor told me that the cervix was 5 cm and everything was fine. I also have recurrent cervical infections, I have already taken pessaries three times. Could it be something serious? I had my last ultrasound on February 14 and everything is fine. I have my next ultrasound at week 32. Please reply.
Hardening of the abdomen is most likely uterine contraction. Perhaps there is a risk of preterm labor. You should see a gynecologist for an examination.
