I'm currently pregnant for the third time. The first pregnancy, from which I have a 4-year-old daughter, the second one a year and a half ago - the twin pregnancy died in the 13th week. I am currently in the 18th week of my third pregnancy. A week ago I was hospitalized with spotting and a strained belly. The ultrasound showed no abnormalities. The placenta does not detach, the amount of amniotic fluid is correct. The baby is developing properly. The neck does not shorten. Lutein treatment was applied and the spotting has passed. The doctor did not say what the cause was. He says everything is fine. At the beginning of my present pregnancy, I was stained at week 7 and it is also unknown why. From the moment I found out that I was pregnant, I do not have intercourse for fear of some complications, especially since the attending physician says that my pregnancy may be different. Where could this spotting come from? I would like to add that I do not carry and try to save as much as I can.

The cause of spotting during pregnancy cannot always be diagnosed. If the pregnancy is normal and there are no signs of imminent miscarriage, then spotting is not of significant importance. They can be caused by a rupture of a small vessel or, for example, by the presence of an erosion.
