Everyday headache can have various sources, it often results from an incorrect lifestyle and improper treatment of other comorbid ailments. The causes that make the head ache every day include :

  • drug abuse (especially painkillers)
  • caffeine abuse
  • alcohol abuse
  • nicotine abuse
  • chronic stress
  • depression
  • insomnia
  • obesity
  • hypertension
  • hyperthyroidism

Daily headache: chronic headache treatment

Treating chronic headache is difficult and often unsatisfactory. The best results are achieved by close cooperation between the patient and the doctor and changing the lifestyle to eliminate the factors that may be at the root of the problem. When comorbidities are the cause, the key is to cure them or set them pharmacologically to reduce the risk of a headache. In the case of drug-induced headache, it is necessary to discontinue painkillers.
