I have MS, I got a proposal to participate in clinical trials - incl. MRI with contrast - gadolinium. I found information that the contraindication to perform an MRI is, among others, having tattoos or permanent makeup. Please let me know how serious this contraindication is.
If you are diagnosed with MS, the diagnosis had to be made on the basis of MR. Perhaps a contraindication is that the skin may be irritated after such an examination. However, I suggest some contact with the MR studio. In my opinion, this is a minor contraindication.
