- Pants colors for ladies 50+ and 60+
Properly selected pants allow not only to mask the imperfections of the figure, but also to optically rejuvenate. It is not worth giving up this item of clothing when you are 50+ or 60+, and you should especially remember about always fashionable jeans, which are great for years!
Pants were worn in antiquity by East European and Asian tribes, Gauls and Germans. They spread during the Middle Ages and the modern era, but it was only for men. In the nineteenth century, they became a symbol of emancipation, but their career in women's fashion is relatively short. They became popular among women only in the 1960s.
Today it is difficult to imagine both men's and women's wardrobe without them. In the case of women, they add self-confidence, emphasize a strong personality and individual style. That is why it is important to never give up on them - especially in the fall of life.
Pants for mature people, fitted to the figure
In order to look good in pants regardless of age, you need to choose them properly to your body shape. Here are some tips for the four most common types of figures:
- Pear silhouette
Trousers that will optically slim the hips and thighs, which will ensure good body proportions, will be useful. Classic cuts with a straight leg as well as with a medium or high waist are perfect.
It is worth paying attention to the elegant cigarillos with a crease, which optically slim the figure. It is better to avoid pipes and trousers with additional decorations and stitching (they optically add centimeters).
- Apple silhouette
Here, well-fitted models will come in handy, as they will not "flatten" the buttocks (in the case of apples, they are usually poorly scratched). Therefore, strongly scratched back pockets are welcome.
What to avoid? You must be careful with hipsters and low-waisted trousers, which may overexpose the protruding belly.
- Hourglass silhouette
The easiest way is to choose pants, because in fact, the hourglass looks great in all of them. Straight legs will be good, but also loose or on the contrary - tubes. It is worth to outline the waist line nicely. 7/8 length pants and hipsters will not always be the best, because they can optically shortenbody shape.
- Column silhouette
In her case, it is worth adding a bit of volume in the hips, and at the same time make sure that slim legs are nicely exposed. Therefore, hipsters and skinny pants, as well as trousers with ornaments at the hip level will be good. On the other hand, trousers with a high waist or cut at the waist will nicely outline its line. It is better to avoid too loose legs - the effect of a silhouette without any curves can be created.
Jeans - "rejuvenating" pants for mature people
Jeans are associated with youth, rebellion, but also with comfort and versatility - so there are no reasons why seniors should give them up. It is actually one of the items of clothing that is the easiest way to reduce your years.
And what jeans are recommended for mature women? The most versatile are plain-material trousers with a straight leg. Better to avoid chafing, stitching and holes. A straight leg allows you to create both everyday and more formal styles. It is also always on top, it fits any figure and any height.
Another option is pants with a flared leg - more "rebellious" and recommended rather for less formal styling. However, they have the great advantage of masking wide thighs.
Pants colors for ladies 50+ and 60+
In the case of classic jeans, the matter is rather clear, but what about fabric pants? There are plenty of possibilities here. For starters, you need to keep your distance from black pants and other "gloomy" colors. It is worth allowing for more colors in this item of clothing.
Mature ladies are favored by light browns (e.g. beige, sandy shade or coffee with milk), pastels, powder pink, whitened blue - such colors allow you to optically rejuvenate, bring more light and energy to the styling. You do not need to be afraid of red - fiery and sexy, which is always a friend of femininity.
More caution? Dark green and brown brown. It is better to illuminate such colors with other garments matched to the trousers.
