I'm 30 years old and 13 weeks pregnant. I have had migraines for 10 years, but they are not regular. However, from the 10th week of pregnancy, they appear weekly. I know I can't take any medications and I tire for about two days. The pain is very strong and I am vomiting terribly. I pay attention to what I eat and don't know how to deal with it. I have to take a break because migraine comes at night or in the morning. My life is now a constant stress and fear when the next attack will come. I am afraid for my child that he will not suffer from my nausea and stress. My gynecologist advises me to calm down and in severe pain he recommended Ketonal, but I'm afraid it will hurt my baby. I am really exhausted because after such an attack I am recovering from 4 days. I lost weight instead of gaining weight, I can't enjoy my pregnancy, I still have a bad mood and mood. How can I help myself and the child? It is most important to me. I am asking for advice. Regards.

There are situations when the pain felt by the mother harms the baby more than the drugs that can bear it. If your doctor mentioned Ketonal, he probably meant it.

Undoubtedly, it is advisable to calm down, avoid stress and "migraine-generating" factors. You can use paracetamol products without fear (of course not exceeding the permissible dose).
