In most Polish cities, women who donated 15 liters of blood and men - 18 years can travel by public transport free of charge. It is worth checking if the Honorary Blood Donors can also ride city buses without tickets in your city.
Donate blood and deduct its equivalent from tax!
If you donate blood honorably, you have the option of deducting the donation in the form of a cash equivalent for the donated blood from your tax base. In the tax year 2012/2013, each liter of donated blood is equivalent to PLN 130. The value of the deducted amount, however, cannot be higher than 6% of the total income of the claimant.
