The Institute of Patient Rights and He alth Education was established in 2004 by Fr. Arkadiusz Nowak. Its goal is to make the patient a subject of the he alth care system and the doctor's partner in the treatment process.
The main goals of the Institute of Patient Rights and He alth Education are:
- disseminating patients 'rights to societypatients' rightsand supporting activities aimed at their observance; taking actions leading topatientbecoming a subject of the he alth care system and a partnerdoctorin the therapy process;
- supporting and activating communities working for patient rights, including activities for the integration of various groups and organizations representing patients;
- supporting systemic solutions aimed at the welfare of patients and raising civic awareness in the area of patient rights and he alth education;
- promoting activities aimed at improving the he alth of the society and pro-he alth attitudes.
The Institute cooperates with patient organizations and experts in the field of he althcare, both in Poland and abroad.
