It was found that I have neurotic anxiety disorders. RZ head present in EEG - what does this mean?

The EEG test was probably done for you as part of a routine test to exclude some other non-neurotic disorders. In most cases, this examination does not bring anything new, as well as a routine blood count, which does not mean that it is unnecessary. A non-expert has no use from the detailed description, the final judgment is important: whether the record is within the norm. The mysterious "RZ" belongs to this detailed description, it stands for the "arrest reaction" of the alpha waves when you open your eyes. It lasts a very short time and does not occur in all of them, and it is impossible to draw any far-reaching conclusions on the basis of it. All in all: this is a specialized term, behind which there is nothing serious. Regards!
