I have 3 stones in my right kidney. I am interested in the PCNL method. Where is it made in Poland? What are the risks for the patient? How long do you stay in the hospital? Is it painful?
Hello, Percutaneous nephrolithotripsy or PCNL is one of the methods of treating kidney stones. In addition, traditional surgical treatment is used, and in the case of small deposits, it is possible to excrete them spontaneously through the urinary tract. Qualification for a given method can only be made by the attending physician after examining the patient and analyzing additional tests enabling the assessment of the size and location of the deposits. PCNL treatments are performed in specialized urology clinics - the best source of their up-to-date list is the local branch of the National He alth Fund to which you should ask for information.
