A year ago I had epididymitis. I wanted to know if the disease has any special tendencies to relapse? Recently, the same testicle hurt me again. I also read that sexually transmitted bacteria are to blame. Is it a risk for my wife. We are faithful to each other and I exclude the possibility of my wife infecting me. Is there another reason?

Bacteria can theoretically enter the epididymis in two ways: ascending and blood-borne. The occurrence of infection is also associated with favorable conditions in the body.
