My son is two years old and it turned out that he has the opposite guts and heart. The heart is located on the right side and the viscera is mirror-inverted. He is he althy, but I would like to know if there are any institutions that associate such people. I learned that there are not many such people in Poland, so it is difficult for me to find information on this subject. I know that, for example, diabetics wear special bracelets and in the event of an accident the doctor knows that they are diabetic. I would like to know if there are any medical markings that I could apply to my son and how to get it done.

I am not aware of the existence of an association of people with reversed visceral and heart positioning, although the idea itself is very worth promoting. All patient associations and aid groups make it possible to better withstand the hardships of the disease. You can be sure whether there is such an association only after checking the lists in the registry court. The association may be established by a group of 15 people who should draw up a list of founding members, with their addresses, PESEL number, residential addresses, ID number and signatures. You should write the statute of the association and the minutes of the founding meeting and fill in the documents from the registry court (where you live, you can obtain such forms from the registry court). Of course, it is important in such a case publicity so that other people can also join or support such an association. Below is a link to the law on associations according to the regulations of such organizations in our country. http://www.kp.org.pl/pdf/prawo/ustawa_starańenia.html It is also worth considering a graphic symbol for the association. I think that a plastic bracelet on the wrist with a clear logo and the name of the association is a good way to inform about your differences in the structure of internal organs.
