Does the fact that a 3-year-old girl loves to drink through a straw cause a malocclusion or harm her milk puppies?

Unfortunately, there is no simple answer to this question. Rather, nothing bad should happen if your daughter (only) drinks through a straw. The problem may arise only when the daughter starts playing with the straw, e.g. biting it for too long, holding it with her teeth, etc. Then malocclusion may develop. Observation and evaluation in the dentist's office is necessary.
