One of the decisions of Robert Sowa, one of the most famous chefs in Poland, is to lose a few kilos - for he alth and better well-being. But how to stay in line when such wonderful dishes are prepared every day?

A rehabilitant who comes to our home convinced me to lose a few kilos, for which my spine will be grateful. He told me to put a backpack weighing several kilograms on my stomach. "You carry so many unnecessary kilos," he said. So I decided to become lighter, for he alth and better well-being. However, it is not easy, because I am a foodie, I love food and I love sweets. Recently I was in Madrid, and there are tapas bars, restaurants, culinary wonders, nothing but great things, and how not to eat here, or limit yourself?

Robert Sowa: he althy eating without cooking tricks

At homeculinaryare in the hands of my mother-in-law who cares about our he alth. All the dishes she cooks are he althy and based on natural products. We live near Warsaw, we have bazaars close to us, good shops. The most important thing is that the mother-in-law cooks herself and is unfamiliar with culinary tricks. At home, I visitkitchenonly on weekends. When it comes to my family's and my family's he althy lifestyle, it can be different. However, in addition to he althy eating, we also try to take care of exercise. We live in a forest, in Zielonka near Warsaw, so on winter weekends we go for walks in the snow, and in spring we choose bike rides.

Robert Sowa: home rehabilitation under the supervision of a therapist

For he alth reasons, a therapist comes to our home twice a week; he gives me a therapeutic massage of the spine, and he exercises with his daughter for an hour and straightens her. I also regularly go to the spa, where I get a relaxing massage and moisturizing treatments.
Every year, during the winter break, the three of us spend two weeks at the spa. We used to spend them e.g. in the Alps, skiing, but since my spine began to take its toll on me - we changed skis to one of the spa centers in Poland. We have many treatments, massages and therapeutic baths. We do north walking every day. A stay in the spa and such maximum concentration on the regeneration of the body recharges our batteries before the spring season. We also try to spend holidays, or rather breaks between my professional trips, inplaces where you can combine business with pleasure. Such a place is the beloved Jurata. My life is cooking, my hobby is cooking. In contrast, nothing relaxes me as much as a couch, TV and English ball.
