I have had problems with my elbows and spine for 2-3 years - tennis elbow was found in both hands. The right one is a bit smaller, but the left one I can't cope with the pain. I'm after a few Diprophos blockages, but the effect is poor. The pain bothers me a lot, it will practically eliminate my hand. Rehabilitation treatments do not help either. My spine also hurts - I have discopathy in every episode. My hands are much weaker, my items fall out. There are also difficulties in breathing and pains radiating to the chest, problems with walking. Rehabilitation doesn't help much, I take antidepressants. Do I have to suffer like this?
Since the orthopedist does not see the need for surgery, rehabilitation remains. Its use must be correct, as it can often do more harm. There are also new methods such as "shock wave" used in specialized rehabilitation facilities. It is therefore necessary to visit a physiotherapist, e.g. at the Medicover hospital or CM Damian.
In the case of the spine, if the neurosurgeon does not find the need for surgery, physical therapy will also help to strengthen the muscles of the spine and relieve it. Pain therapy should be carried out in parallel, antidepressants alone are not enough, because depression is not the cause of the pain. The use of antidepressants is due to their analgesic properties, so you need to try different combinations of drugs to get them to work. It is therefore necessary to visit an analgesic clinic.
