I was operated in January 2007. I did not take any medications. Is there a chance that I will be able to have sex? I talked about this with a urologist and I was not satisfied with the information. In 2004, I had a heart attack. I would like to know if I still have a chance to enjoy this pleasure, or if I should come to terms with the fate that befell me.

Maintaining sexual performance after prostate surgery depends on the type of surgery performed on you, and thus - on the diagnosed disease. If you have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and have undergone radical prostatectomy, the chance of getting an erection is small and depends on many factors (whether the neural bundles have been preserved, the advancement of the disease, the experience of the center where you were operated on). In the case of procedures performed due to benign prostatic hyperplasia, the chance of a normal erection is much higher. Often after such procedures there is a phenomenon of retrograde ejaculation. The fact of having a myocardial infarction does not mean that sexual intercourse is prohibited, I think the doctor wanted to use Viagra or a similar drug. The use of these drugs is contraindicated in patients taking certain heart medications. I suggest you talk to your cardologist about the possible use of these drugs.
