I am 21 years old, I study and for the last two years, more or less, my life has been ruled by stress. Every little thing makes me gag. I've tried everything - calming drugs, positive thinking - and it doesn't work. I am not even able to go to the exam from home. Is there any remedy or drug that can stop this worst symptom of stress for me, nausea? I will do everything to free myself from it, because I can't take it anymore.
A proper psychological diagnosis is necessary what is the cause of this condition. The exam - but what aspects - tension, lack of knowledge, shame, failure, weak mind, time, etc? Without it, drugs should not be used because they are "directed" to specific situations. You may experiment with your usual indigestion or vomiting medications at first to control your "reflexes", but this will not be enough. The methods of visualization psychotherapy work well in such cases, giving the possibility of controlling physiology. Look for a suitable specialist.
