I have a problem with my mom. I suspect he has a nervous breakdown. She has an operation in a month - women's affairs, and she has to leave the house where they lived for over 20 years with her husband, who is suffering from a stroke and with her 15-year-old daughter, because the owner gave them a notice of termination. In less than a month, she lost 5 kg, eats little, does not sleep at night. What should I do?
Hello! It is hardly surprising how we react in this situation. It is difficult to deal with so many problems at once. Mom must remember that her strength (also physical) is important and that, above all, she must take care of herself. He needs to eat well, despite his reluctance to go for walks, talk to kind people. Not with those who only whimper and complain, but with those who are optimistic about the world despite the hardships this world has in store for us. Let him use mild, preferably herbal or homeopathic, sleeping aids from time to time and do not constantly reflect on his troubles. Just thinking doesn't get you anywhere. Just from spinning her thoughts in her head, no miraculous solution would suddenly come to her. So it's a waste of energy and time. And you help your mother as much as you can. Talk to her, support her, propose solutions to specific problems. Be with her and be open to her needs. A little bit of everything and it will start to fall into place one by one.
