The calendar of compulsory vaccinations for 2022 is a program according to which vaccinations are carried out in patients up to 19 years of age and in people at high risk of falling ill. What is the mandatory vaccination calendar for 2022?

Compulsory vaccinationsare carried out according to the established calendar in patientsup to the age of 19and inparticularly vulnerable people(e.g. medical students, he althcare professionals). Compulsory vaccinations are carried out under the National He alth Fund - they are reimbursed by the state, which means that the person undergoing the vaccination does not bear the costs.

Vaccinations help to inhibit the circulation of microorganisms and protect not only those who are vaccinated, but also those who for some reason have not been vaccinated. They provide maximum protection against infection and contribute to the reduction of the incidence of particular infectious diseases.

Vaccination calendar - combined vaccines

An alternative to single vaccines are combination vaccines that provide protection against several diseases in one injection. They allow you to limit the number of stabs.

There are three types of vaccines in Polandhighassociated :

  • quadrivalent vaccineDTaP-IPV(4 in 1) immunizing against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis,
  • pentivalent vaccineDTaP-IPV + Hib(5 in 1) immunizing against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type b
  • hexavalent vaccineDTaP-IPV + Hib + HBV(6 in 1) immunizing against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type b, hepatitis B. For the 6 in 1 vaccine, give 1 dose of hepatitis B vaccine on day 1 of life, taking into account the exposure to HBV infection.
