Do you remember camping as a survival school? However, it was probably not that bad, since when you think about those trips, you smile … Nothing prevents you from returning to this way of rest! Are you saying that your age has passed and that you need more comfort? Don't worry, a lot has changed in the camping world too.

Quite strict hygiene conditions, queues for toilets, frequent washing in the lake, an ever-falling gas cooker and the contents of mess tins on a sleeping bag … This is how we recall camping trips.

Modern campsites are surprisingly functional

But now campsites in Europe are often almost "holiday villages" where summer holidays can be comfortable and - importantly - inexpensive. And all this, with the increasingly better network of roads and a large number of cheap air connections, is a great opportunity to convince yourself of this type of leisure.

Our native campsites are not lagging behind either. Many of them offer good sanitary conditions and a well-prepared infrastructure. And if we add to this an attractive location - right next to the B altic beach or in a quiet forest by Solina - the vision of rest becomes very interesting!

Also, the camping gear is getting better every season. Tents are made of ever lighter materials and take up less space when packed. They can have 2 or 3 bedrooms, mosquito nets in numerous windows and a vestibule where even a tall person does not have to bend down.

When it comes to sleeping, you can choose classic sleeping mats, with an insulating layer, self-inflating ones and those already ready-made "beds" integrated with the duvet, pillow and bedding. People who do not want to sleep "on the ground" can choose from a wide range of camp beds. Modern sleeping bags, filled with newer and newer types of microfibers, which ensure elasticity and higher thermal insulation with ever lower weight and smaller volume.

Stoves and grills, pots, thermoses, dishes - all this is now more functional and convenient to use.

Advantages of a camping holiday

When choosing a camping holiday, we change cramped hotel rooms and food in canteens into space, fresh air, constant contact with nature andlots of traffic. And as you know, exercise in the open air is the same he alth - better oxygenation, improved circulation, lowering blood pressure and help in regulating cholesterol levels, and thus - improving mood.

The mere stay at the campsite will mobilize you to be more active. You will start the day with a walk to the sanitary facilities, then you will run to the store for fresh bread for breakfast, which you will then eat in the shade of the trees, listening to the singing of birds. And this is just the beginning. There are plenty of opportunities for you to spend time actively: swimming pools, bicycles, tennis courts, and outside the campsite, sightseeing and excursions.

Simple camping booking

Many campsites have their own website. It is worth having a look to get basic information about the infrastructure and see photo galleries about the data. In most cases, you can also pre-book a place via the website. Do this in advance, especially if you are going on holiday in high season.

This will be useful to you
