In adolescents, seborrhea develops in adolescence, in adults during puberty, and then it can lead to alopecia - first the hair falls out in the frontal angles, gradually the process covers the entire surface of the top of the head.

Scalp seborrhea - symptoms

Sometimes, just a few hours after washing, the hair is greasy, clumped into "pods". Initially, seborrhea is often accompanied by dry dandruff, which, if left untreated, turns into oily dandruff. This causes inflammation of the scalp, causing itching and scratching, which can cause skin damage and secondary bacterial infections.

Scalp seborrhea - treatment

In addition to the therapy prescribed by a doctor, proper care of the scalp is important. You should fight dandruff while it is dry - use specialized shampoos for washing hair and preparations for rubbing into the skin. You should avoid drying cosmetics, e.g. for styling, as well as greasy, clogging pores. Hair should be washed in lukewarm water so as not to stimulate the sebaceous glands, it is also better not to use the dryer. In addition, it's worth taking a look at your diet - avoid animal fats and sweets.
