Act on the treatment of infertility using the in vitro method

The in vitro infertility treatment will be available to both married and informal people, on the basis of their joint statement.

Couples trying to have a child using in-vitro method will be able to use reproductive cells or embryos from anonymous donors.

The number of fertilized eggs (one woman) is limited to six. An exception to this rule applies when a woman is 35 years old or older, or when infertility is accompanied by another illness.

It is forbidden to destroy embryos capable of proper development. A person who does so may be imprisoned from 6 months to even 5 years.

Preimplantation genetic diagnosis is forbidden to select phenotypic traits, including the child's sex, unless such a choice will avoid a serious, incurable disease.
