Spring season for new diets has started. This time, the Venice A. Fulton dietitian proposes a six-week OMG diet, thanks to which you can not only lose unnecessary kilograms, but also get rid of cellulite.

OMGis an abbreviation of the popular shout: "Oh My God", which appears on the lips of every person who follows the recommendations ofFulton's diet .

Cold bath

The six-weekslimming treatmentshould be started each day with a 15-minute bath in cold water (at a temperature between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius). First we dip our legs, after a few minutes we sit down, and finally we lie down. According to Fulton, such a bath speeds up metabolism, and also reduces cellulite and firms the skin. Immediately after bathing, you need to drink black coffee. This is because caffeine is supposed to open fat cells and make the fat get into the blood and then into the muscles, which use it as their fuel.

Breakfast at 10.00

It is advisable to eat the first meal not earlier than three hours after you wake up. So if we get up around 7 am, we prepare breakfast for 10.00. This three-hour break gives your body time to burn off your fat reserves. Washing, getting dressed, getting ready to go out - all this means that we use up our energy, that is, we get rid of unnecessary calories. Only this way the body cleansed is prepared for a meal.

Three diet options

A bath, black coffee and a late breakfast are only half the battle.
There are two additional iron rules in the OMG diet - we limit carbohydrates and force the body to move. Fulton ensures that you can lose 5 to 10 kilograms in 6 weeks. Depending on the effect we want to achieve, we choose one of the three diet options: Wave, Blaze or Quake.
» WAVE (loss of approx. 5 kg):

  • consume no more than 120 g of carbohydrate per day
  • eat a maximum of three fruits
  • exercise one hour a day

» BLAZE (7-8 kg loss):

  • eat a maximum of 90 g of carbohydrate per day
  • eat a maximum of two fruits
  • exercise a minimum of 75 minutes a day

» QUAKE (loss of approx. 10 kg):

  • consume no more than 60g of carbohydrates per day
  • eat a maximum of 1 fruit
  • exercise a minimum of 1.5hours a day

No more snacks

OMG diet rules out snacking, snacking and too many meals a day. According to Fulton, three are enough for us. The author of the diet also warns against low-fat products, in which fat is replaced with carbohydrates, which ultimately leads to excess weight. It also warns against sweet drinks and adding sugar or sweetener to tea and coffee. In the OMG diet it is important that the meal contains a minimum of 50 percent. proteins. It is acceptable to eat a lot of vegetables.

Time to move

Fulton points out that the OMG diet works much better when combined with exercise. A great idea is even just… a walk. Intensive walking helps to burn unnecessary calories and additionally shapes our figure. We spread the exercises over time. If we choose the option with half an hour's movement a day, we divide it into three rounds of 30 minutes.

He althy sleep

The more you sleep, the more efficiently you burn fat - argues the author of the diet. “If your body takes 8 hours and you only sleep 7, your body fat will be about 2.8 percent. higher than if you had stayed in bed an hour longer, ”writes Fulton. Sleep deprivation reduces the amount of leptin - the hormone responsible for watching over our appetite.
