On May 12, 2022, for the fifth time, we will be able to take part in the Wrocław Academic Run, which will take place in Park Grabiszyński. As every year, the goal is worthy.
In the previous edition, as many as 1000 runners showed that it is worth helping in a sporty style. The event is organized by the Cultural and Sports Information of Students operating at the Student Council of the University of Economics in Wrocław and the Academic Sports Association of UE Wrocław.
Active juwenalia
It was established to promote physical activity in the juvenile period. However, it is directed not only to students, but to all residents of Wrocław and the surrounding area who want to actively spend their time and help at the same time. During the run, participants will have the opportunity to compete on two distances - 5 and 10 km and in two categories - OPEN and STUDENT. The whole event, apart from the main point of the event, is accompanied by specially prepared attractions and a developed running town.
For two-year-old Marysia
However, it is most important not to cross the finish line as quickly as possible. The Wrocław Academic Run is primarily a charity event. The organizers strongly believe that you can combine business with pleasure and help through physical activity. This year, the entire proceeds will be donated to two-year-old Marysia, who has already had a hard fight with cancer behind her. The bump disappeared from Marysia's cheek, but left a trace that we would like to get rid of together in order to help Marysia return to normal and restore her he althy appearance.
