My mother was diagnosed with kidney cancer and had her removed. A duodenal ulcer was also detected. After a month of hospitalization, she was discharged home in a very poor condition. He does not want to eat, and also drinks in small amounts. She has a gag reflex all the time, is weak and refuses to walk. He takes the ulcer medication Oranol twice a day. How can I help my mom?

The recovery period after kidney removal surgery is quite long and depends on your general he alth prior to surgery. In addition, your mother developed peptic ulcer disease after the surgery, which extends the recovery period. Were you on a control visit to the urologist or did you receive the result of the histopathological examination of the tumor? After the procedure, check the morphology, urea and creatinine. Mom should be under the supervision of a urology clinic. If he feels unwell, please call your GP who is obliged to come to a home visit and he or she will decide how to proceed.
