Since I was a child I dreamed (horror of horrors) to become a driver of the so-called TIR. Well, my dreams came true. However, I quickly realized that it is not such a beautiful job as I thought. Constant stress, rush and being away from home ruin my psyche. In excess of everything, one finally gets fed up. On the one hand, I believe that this is my vocation, and on the other, I know that I would be fit for safer work if I only graduated from the appropriate school and obtained qualifications. I always studied very well, but I stopped at vocational school, then high school graduation because "I wanted to be a driver". When I started this job and met her, I decided that I would drive 3-4 years and then I would find something else, maybe my own. 18 years old and still driving, still mentally collapsing when I stay abroad for the weekend … There is a long list of reasons for stress in this job (collisions, snow, disrespect for people, etc.) but this one is the most depressing. Wife has no job, we have 2 they have children, we live in a small city. Life is running out, years are growing and I come home for weekend passes at most. I have been saying for a long time that I will go to a psychologist, but my working time verifies it. How can I help myself?

Every job involves stress or strain. I don't know a job where there is no stress. In each job there is either more or less of it. It is important to deal with it skillfully and constructively. The best response to stress is sport, which reduces irritability, outbursts of anger or general tension in the body. T

You have to choose the kind of sport that brings a lot of joy and smile. It can be cycling, running or basketball. It should be systematically grown at least twice a week. Daily morning and evening 15-minute exercises do a lot of good. It is best if the room is well aired before we start exercise. Swimming and exercising in water are great for stress relief. Please also limit coffee and strong tea and always have still water with you. Also limit carbonated drinks. A good way to relieve stress is contact with art, e.g. you can sign up for painting or ceramics classes.

You should also introduce breathing exercises if you think about reducing stress.I also recommend autogenic training or Jacobson's method, which relieve experienced tension and stress. Please remember that before you fight stress, you will have to try many of the following methods, e.g. music therapy or aromatherapy, before you find the one that suits you.

Sometimes, however, you need to use several methods at the same time to feel relief and, above all, you need to use them regularly - then the Lord will feel the changes in your body and mind. Regards.
