The methods of treatment by touch are acupuncture, acupressure and reflexotherapy. Stimulating the right points on the body unblocks the flow of energy and restores the body's physical balance.
Treatment by touch -acupuncture ,acupressure ,reflexotherapy- based on the meridian theory that is, the energy flow channels. There are points on them where qi is accumulated. Disease occurs when a blockage occurs at some point. The system of meridians and energy points located on them creates a specific map of the body, already described in the "Book of the Yellow Emperor". Meridians and their branches are internal pathways connecting all organs. There are 12 main and 8 additional canals, each connected to a specific organ. Thanks to these connections, the body is a single, organic whole. Knowing the mutual relations between points and organs, a Chinese medicine doctor can, by irritating selected points, heal specific organs, even distant from them. For example, it will fight a headache by rebalancing the liver if it decides that this is the cause of the pain. Completely different is the approach of classical Western medicine, which will treat the headache as an isolated condition and treat it symptomatically.
Acupuncture
The most widely used method of treatment by Chinese medicine doctors. It is used to remove energy blockages in the meridians. The healing effect is achieved by inserting very fine needles into points along the meridians. It is very effective in the treatment of many diseases, especially pain (it is used, for example, in anesthesia).
ImportantTogether or interchangeably with acupuncture, cauterization (moxa) is often used, i.e. warming up points on the skin. Moksa is a dried and twisted herb commonly known as mugwort. It contains stimulating and warming substances. They penetrate the skin and clear the channels. The smoldering moxa gets closer to your body - close enough to warm you up and far enough not to burn yourself.
Acupressure
The oldest form of treatment, also known as point massage. It can be used to combat many diseases (except cancer). There are several acupressure techniques, the most advancedis a linear massage along the meridians, with the use of various types of movements.
Reflexotherapy
A method supporting treatment, especially helpful in the treatment of pain. The therapy is based on the assumption that every part of the body is a reflection of the whole. And so, for example, a foot, hand, ear - they contain a representation of a body map, and individual points on this map are reflections (reflections) of specific organs. Massaging some reflexes results in better blood supply to the corresponding organ.
