Chinese cupping massage - what is the procedure?

Before massaging, the masseur greases the skin with an olive, which makes it easier to move the bubble. The classic set includes 4 bubbles of different sizes. They will be used depending on what part of the body will be treated.

The bubble is applied to the skin after squeezing the air out of it. The negative pressure thus created in the bulb causes suctiona fold of skin and underlying tissues to the inside of the bubble. The masseur then makes alternating long strokes of the cup over the skin and circular movements towards the lymph nodes, which last no longer than 3 minutes (usually until bruising). The effect of the vacuum stimulates blood circulation, removes toxins from the body faster, as well as relaxes the muscles and makes the skin more elastic.

Chinese cupping massage lasts approx. 15-30, even 60 minutes (larger body massage). To achieve the expected results, it should be performed in series (10-12 treatments), with intervals between treatments at least 3 days. Prophylactically, it can be performed at least once a week. The price depends on the type of treatment and ranges from PLN 60 to PLN 170 per hour of massage.

Important! The ecchymoses that occur after the massage are usually absorbed within a few days and are not a contraindication to subsequent treatments. If you experience prolonged or persistent pain after such a massage, take a hot shower.
