The nausea in pregnancy can take its toll on you and diminish the joy of the first weeks of waiting for a baby. Mornings are the most difficult, but sometimes the nausea comes back during the day. We advise you on how to treat nausea in pregnancy.

Nausea in pregnancyusually occurs around week 4 and is the earliest noticeable sign of pregnancy. The cause ofnausea(usually accompanied byvomiting ) is the hormonal retuning of the mother's organism - it grows then, among others, the level of chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG), which protects the developing pregnancy. Nausea most often occurs in the morning, when the expectant mother is still fasting. They can also appear during the day, usually under the influence of stress or some smell. In most pregnant women, they disappear after the third month.
Vomiting (which normally means something is wrong) is not harmful to your baby. The developing fetus receives all the nutrients it needs, because it gets them from the mother's body when needed. So far, no cures have been invented for them, but there are several ways to make them less bothersome.
