Cranberry leaves are harvested in the summer and dried, while the fruits in autumn, even after frost (freezing removes their tartness). Cranberry juice
Pour 1 kg of cranberries into 3 cups of water and cook over high heat until overcooked.
Pour through a sieve into a stoneware dish and set aside for 24 hours in a cool place.
Filter the juice through cheesecloth, add 1/2 kg of sugar, bring to a boil, and cool down into bottles.

Cranberries in syrup
