I am 16 years old, I have been practicing swimming for 2 years (2 to 3 hours 7 times a week). I am 166 cm tall and weigh about 49-50 kg. My problem is that I have too much fat on my stomach and hips. The so-called the sides are pouring out from behind my pants. I try to burn this fat with exercises such as crunches, I also take L-carnitine, I also limited my sweets (to 1 lollipop or candy a day), but unfortunately nothing helps. I am asking for some advice on what I could do in this situation, because I really care about a slim figure.
Your body weight in relation to your age and sports discipline is correct. A small amount of body fat doesn't so much keep you from swimming, it even helps. The distribution of adipose tissue in the body is genetically determined. The methods you describe for dealing with subcutaneous fat are perfectly appropriate. I don't know what your daily diet looks like, for sure limiting fatty foods can help. As long as it is not exaggerated, fat is also an important nutrient and you must not give it up completely. A he althy athlete's diet should contain about 15% proteins, 25% fats and 60-70% carbohydrates. So don't worry, I advise you to continue training, be patient and pay attention to what you are eating.
