- Cannabis oil - benefits of medicinal marijuana. What diseases does it help?
Cannabis oil (hemp oil), or "phoenix tears" or RSO oil, is not the same as hemp oil. Hemp oil is considered by some to be a life-saving medicine. They argue that marijuana oil, incl. can cure glioblastoma (a type of brain cancer) and reduce seizures. However, despite this, hemp oil, as well as the very use of marijuana for medicinal purposes, still raises a lot of controversy. Check how hemp oil works and how it differs from medicinal marijuana in the form of tablets or drops.
Cannabis oil( hemp oil ), otherwise " phoenix tears " orRSO oilis an oil obtained from cannabis flowers using a method developed by Rick Simpson (hence the name RSO - Rick Simpson Oil). This oil contains a strong concentration of THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) - a psychoactive agent and the main active ingredient of marijuana. It is estimated that RSO oil contains up to 95-98 percent. TSH. For comparison - hemp itself contains 5 to 20 percent. this relationship. Thus, marijuana oil is one of the strongest natural remedies.
Cannabis (hemp) oil - healing properties
It has been scientifically proven that marijuana has numerous healing properties - incl. it has an analgesic effect (which is used especially in cancer patients), prevents vomiting in people after chemotherapy, improves appetite in patients with AIDS, and reduces muscle spasticity in patients with multiple sclerosis.

The results of research by scientists from the New York University Langone Comprehensive Epilepsy Center on the properties of a liquid marijuana extract are also promising. They argue that the extract can be effective in the treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy in children and adults. The experiment involved 213 people - children and adults (average age was 11 years) - suffering from severe types of epilepsy, resistant to treatment, such as e.g. Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. The subjects were orally administered a cannabis extract containing CBD - an active substance that does not have a psychoactive effect, once a day. It turned out that in 137 people who completed the 12-week test, the frequency of seizures during therapy decreasedby an average of 54 percent In contrast, in 23 patients with Dravet syndrome who received the drug for the full 12 weeks, the frequency of seizures fell by 53%. In turn, in 11 patients with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome who completed the study on time, a 55% decrease in the frequency of atonic seizures was observed. 12 people ended the test earlier due to side effects (e.g. drowsiness, diarrhea). What is medical marijuana? Medical marijuana is pharmacological agents - in the form of tablets, drops or dried - produced from cannabis obtained from special breeding. As a result, medical marijuana contains more medicinal substances and is almost devoid of the psychoactive substance, i.e. THC (a compound from the cannabinoid group). Therefore, a patient who takes medicinal marijuana does not enter into a narcotic state, as is the case with smoking weed. Additionally, medical marijuana is administered in specific (usually minimal) doses to obtain a therapeutic effect and under the supervision of a physician. There are no studies on the properties of hemp oil, so it is not known if it is effective (or ineffective). Doctors explain that they do not know its composition or how it was prepared. It is also not known how to dose it. However, the observation of people who take marijuana oil or give it to their relatives, shows that it has a healing effect, and also works faster than medical marijuana in the form of tablets or drops. The name "RSO oil" comes from the first letters of the name of Rick Simpson, who first started using cannabis flower oil For example, in a child suffering from drug-resistant epilepsy after administering RSO oil, the number of seizures dropped to as much as 80%. and - very importantly - the healing effects were visible right away. For medicinal cannabis, the effects were also positive, but not as immediate as with illegal oil. In addition, there are reports of a cure of glioblastoma (in a patient who - according to doctors - already terminally ill and referred to a hospice) and of cancer of the lymph nodes with the use ofcannabis flower oil . These cases are for people who do not follow EBM (Evidence Based Medicine) confirmation that RSO oil works. Therefore, more extensive research is needed to determine exactly what medicinal properties marijuana oil has - in which diseases it can help. It should also be determined in what doses it can be administered to have therapeutic benefits and at the same time minimize possible side effects. You also have tocheck if RSO oil does not interact with any medications. In Poland, marijuana oil is illegal In Poland, marijuana oil is illegal. You can only buy it on the black market (it is worth knowing that the price of a monthly treatment is about PLN 16,000). However, then it is not known what quality raw material it was made of, what is the concentration of the active substance, etc., because no one controls it. Medicinal marijuana is not addictive in a psychological sense, does not intoxicate, does not cause a feeling of pleasure. All because it is almost devoid of the THC psychoactive substance, and additionally it is administered in a small amount (calculated in fractions of a milligram) and - most importantly - under the supervision of a doctor. How is hemp oil? RSO oil contains TSH in a significant amount and therefore may have a psychotic effect. Cannabis oil vs hemp seed oil Cannabis oil should not be confused with hemp oil, which is extracted from hemp seeds. It is widely available in he alth food stores and can be used as an addition to salads, sauces and vegetables. This oil has no therapeutic effect. Source: x-news.pl/Dzień Dobry TVN
