Vaginoplasty: risk of complications
Vaginoplasty carries a relatively low risk of complications. the most common problems are:

- pain
- bruising of the perineal skin,
- bleeding,
- infection,
- subcutaneous thickenings,
- scar hypertrophy,
- venous thrombosis,
- sensory disturbances in the operated area.
After vaginoplasty, it is especially easy to get an unwanted infection. The reason is the location of the wound close to the anus and the bacterial flora of the vagina. Strict hygiene practices usually prevent such problems.
