I am an 18-year-old boy who is physically he althy, has good contacts with family and peers. Why do I feel attracted to men? Also because of one man I started to masturbate. Is it homosexuality? How was he 'born' with me? Is it another disorder?
You are just at the age (puberty) in which most people go through the so-called the homophilic phase (i.e. interest in one's own sex). It is difficult at this point to make a diagnosis regarding sexual orientation. If it is homosexuality, then you were born with it. More and more scientific premises speak of the biological, not acquired, basis of homosexuality. If that's what you are, nothing can change it. You cannot be cured (just as you cannot get caught) of homosexuality. It is like eye color. Wait for your maturation to finish. Then you will be sure about your orientation yourself.
