The Onion Diet is a nutritional plan based on onion vegetables. The proposed weekly onion diet menu includes all types of onions as well as garlic, leek and chives. Onion diet: menu. Day 1

  • breakfast: graham, 2 teaspoons of cottage cheese, 2 slices of tomato, 1 slice of white onion, a cup of herbal tea without sugar
  • 2nd breakfast: apple
  • lunch: French onion soup (250 ml)
  • afternoon tea: garlic and pineapple salad (150 g)
  • dinner: salad with leek, eggs, boiled chicken breast and corn (100 g)

Onion diet: menu. Day 2

  • breakfast: a slice of crispbread, cottage cheese with pieces of leek, 3 slices of cucumber
  • 2nd breakfast: 1 onion
  • dinner: cooked chicken breast (150 g) in garlic sauce
  • afternoon tea: salad with tomatoes, red onion and green olives (100 g)
  • dinner: onion and apple soup with mustard (200 ml)

Onion diet: menu. Day 3

  • breakfast: scrambled eggs with onion and tomato (150 g)
  • 2nd breakfast: pear
  • lunch: leek soup with amaranth (250 ml)
  • afternoon tea: celery, leek and onion cocktail (250 ml)
  • dinner: braised spinach with garlic (200 g)

Onion diet: menu. Day 4

  • breakfast: a slice of whole grain bread with red onion jam, fruit tea
  • 2nd breakfast: banana
  • dinner: onion tart with mushrooms (150 g)
  • afternoon tea: arugula and leek salad (100 g)
  • dinner: spicy onion cake (50 g), a glass of black tea

Onion diet: menu.Day 5

  • breakfast: 2 slices of crispbread, 2 teaspoons of light cottage cheese mixed with a tablespoon of chives, 1/8 red pepper, a slice of tomato, tea with lemon (250 ml)
  • 2nd breakfast: onion and nut salad (100 g)
  • dinner: white sausage with red onion jam (150 g)
  • afternoon tea: fruit jelly (100 g)
  • supper: leek and pickled cucumber salad (100 g)

Onion diet: menu. Day 6

  • breakfast: omelette based on wheat bran and oatmeal with mushrooms and onions (150 g)
  • 2nd breakfast: onion salad with plums (100 g)
  • lunch: pizza with onion and cheese (150 g)
  • afternoon tea: garlic salad (100 g)
  • dinner: leek and zucchini cold soup (100 g)

Onion diet: menu. Day 7

  • breakfast: graham, cottage cheese paste with green onion, 2 slices of tomato
  • 2nd breakfast: selected fruit
  • lunch: two pores in shirts
  • afternoon tea: onion cookies (30 g)
  • dinner: a glass of tomato juice with garlic and basil
