I am very desperate because I have almost half a century behind me and I have been and am alone all my life. I know that there was a time when, seeing my parents' hopeless relationship, without love, in which I grew up, along with my siblings, I internally somehow "blocked" myself on men at all, and did not look for the other half. But for several years now I have become obsessed with something, because living alone I feel that I am losing my life. Unfortunately, looking for a man for a relationship is not made easier by the fact that I am a quiet, calm, unsociable person, I do not go to any parties, addictions are alien to me. Until now, I have kept virgin purity. But it is already extremely difficult for me with the burden of loneliness, after work I return to an empty apartment, and I do not know what to do with myself

Hello, Someone wrote in our psyche - to be happy you have to start a family, have children and live "in harmony" in a marriage. So we have been chasing our happiness for a long time, because another option has not yet been considered. I am glad that we live in the twenty-first century, because women without fear or shame can go to the cinema, café or go to a party at a disco. Even in there are portals of people who value their freedom. Reading their statements and what they saw, you can envy them and get the impression that they are happy, fulfilled and that I believe them. Each group, those who are in a relationship and those who choose freedom (loneliness?) Have their reasons. A relationship of two people sometimes requires sacrifices, giving up their dreams and eternal compromise, and not everyone can do it. Of course, I am a bit generalizing here, so please do not take my arguments literally, but there is some truth in all of this. People who are free can make their dreams come true, because who will stop them from doing what they like? In every group, whether in a relationship or being a free person, it is worth having your interests (hobbies) that give meaning in life. If we do not have this "something", sooner or later we feel lonely and bored, regardless of whether we are alone or not. Each interest broadens our horizons, views and is often associated with the appropriate group of people. They can be owners who are in love with their pets. There are also those who like poetry who are passionate about collecting stamps, coins or other accessories. The range of interests is huge and we ourselves candecide which group of people we want to join. You write that after work you do not know what to do with yourself. Perhaps it is worth starting today to carefully browse the Internet and newspapers. Go to your local community center and see what activities they offer. Sign up for tai chi, yoga, or simply go for long walks and organized trips from the community center. All this will bring you closer to other people without much effort, and the acquaintances will be established on their own. In the past, people used to say "sit in a bushel of poppies and they will find you" - it is out of date nowadays. It is not worth thinking about the past as a failure, but as a lesson that should give you the strength to change something in your life. Please get interested in yourself and answer the questions: what do I like? what do they want What can I do? When you answer these and other questions, the realization of your dreams will be very simple. Most likely, interesting people will start to put you on your way, and the conversation with them will then flow on its own. Regards
