Szuster-Ciesielska also added that Molnupiravir and Paxlovid preparations are currently used against SARS-CoV-2 infection. The European Medicines Agency has recommended marketing authorization for Paxlovid for adults who do not require oxygen support and are at increased risk.
In turn, Molnupiravir has been approved for use in Poland by the Minister of He alth on special terms - the doctor must inform the patient that the drug has not been registered, and the patient must consent to its use.
