Strong by Zumba - description of classes

Strong by Zumba classes combine strength, plyometric, functional and cardio training in perfect sync with the music. Compared to classic zumba, dance-only movements are virtually eliminated in this training. Exercises work with the use of their own body weight, improving muscle tone and endurance.

Strong by Zumba is an intense workout - during the classes you can sweat and get fit. It is an ideal solution for people who like circuit training, ABS, ABT or currently fashionable crossfit. Strong by Zumba produces similar effects. The key issue, however, is the sense of rhythm. The exercises are usually done very quickly and the music gives the pace to the training. Thanks to energetic background sounds, participants are able to do more repetitions than by practicing without music. Every bend, jump or squat is reflected in the sounds.

Does Strong by Zumba bring clear results? The opinions about this training program on the Internet are mostly positive. Strong by Zumba is included in the list of 10 sports hits that debuted in 2016 for a reason.

During exercise, the heart rate and oxygen demand increase, and through intense movements to the rhythm of the melody, the body burns calories for a long time after training. This contributes to the loss of unnecessary fat tissue as well as body shaping and firming. Stabilization develops by jumping. Agility is practiced by the quickbreaks to the sides. Flexibility and general motor coordination are also enhanced. All of this is a result of the motivating effect of the music in Strong by Zumba, because it is the music that sets the pace of your exercises.

The key issue in achieving visible Strong by Zumba results is the frequency of training sessions. It is recommended to exercise about 60 minutes 3 times a week.

The effects of Strong by Zumba have been scientifically proven. The study was conducted on 23 people who attended Stron by Zumba 3 times a week for 60 minutes for 3 months. It proved that the participants of the classes lost about 3.5 cm in the waist and 4.7 cm in the abdominal circumference during this time.

Strong by Zumba and classic Zumba - differences

Despite having a few common features, Strong by Zumba differs significantly from classic zumba. Zumba classic:

  • is a moderate cardio training for people at different stages of their advancement in exercise;
  • focuses on having fun with Latin American music;
  • supports burning calories and improving the condition, but it does not allow you to achieve, for example, the effect of a strongly sculpted belly;
  • for long-training people it is (only) a good warm-up before the actual training.

For Strong by Zumba:

  • the music sets the pace and dictates the time of the sequences to be performed;
  • training is focused on sculpting specific parts of the body, e.g. abdomen, and modeling the entire figure;
  • the training is more intense than the classic Zumba, but it is also great for beginners - the level of classes is adjusted to the level of advancement of the participants.

Music for Strong by Zumba

During classic zumba training, usually selected songs constitutetraining background is chosen randomly by the trainers or it is motivated by individual musical preferences. In Strong by Zumba, sets of exercises are created first, and then music is created for them, which dictates the pace of training. It is not an ordinary background that will make the exercises more pleasant, but help us to perform them - the rhythmicity of the music is to release even more energy in the exercisers and motivation to give even more.
